Exploring the Laïta river on a MEGACRAFT means sharing a timeless moment together in the heart of unspoiled nature
A wild river carved through the Carnoët forest, the Laïta winds its way between Quimperlé and the sea.
Rich in exceptional wildlife and flora, it is also a living witness to the history of the territory: the châteaux of Bois du Duc, Bothané and Carnoët, the abbey of Saint-Maurice…
By turns tidal as it approaches the coast, then bucolic further upstream, it changes face with every kilometre.
Its waters rise and fall each day with the tides.
Departure times and meeting points are therefore set according to the tide of the day - to navigate with the current, not against it.
THE COLLECTIVE ADVENTURE, XXL VERSION
No need for balance - we promise! The Megacraft is an ultra-stable craft: kneeling, standing, sitting or lying down - anything goes.
It's a collective adventure where everyone finds their place… and their role. The engine is you - don't forget to paddle!
At the start, we'll brief you, kit you out (Megacraft, buoyancy aids, paddles and dry bags to keep your picnic safe and dry) and send you off on a 3 to 4 hour expedition.
Return to the starting point guaranteed by minibus.
